British Waterways Marinas Ltd
We have a subsidiary marina company, British Waterways Marinas Limited (BWML) which operates some 2500 mooring berths away from the mainline of the canal across 16 sites (two of which are not on British Waterways owned canals and rivers).
Our involvement in the commercial moorings business is monitored and regulated by the Board's Trading Committee (9KB PDF) to ensure that we gain no unfair advantage from our statutory roles and that we comply fully with UK competition law.
