Limehouse Quay: be part of it
British Waterways, London Thames Gateway Development Corporation and other partners in the Lower Lea Valley want to kick start leisure activity around east London’s waterways to take advantage of the opportunities that the Olympics and the regeneration of the Lower Lea Valley will bring.
The plan is for Limehouse Quay to be a commercial destination on London’s waterways and home to an array of new water-based leisure and tourism businesses. Plans for better waterside facilities will enable residents and visitors to explore and enjoy the Limehouse Cut, historic Three Mills, Old Ford Locks and London's Olympic Park.
This website explains the business opportunities and gives background to the project. If you want to be part of this vision before, during and after the 2012 London Olympic & Paralympic Games, then read on to find out more about opportunities at Limehouse Quay.
