BW Status Options Review

The Board of British Waterways has approved the Terms of Reference for a Status Review of BW (a review of options for possible development or change to BW's institutional form).

The review is being carried out by a joint team of KPMG and Merrill Lynch on behalf of the Board, though BW's sponsoring governments were consulted in the preparation of the Terms of Reference.

Once the advisory team have made their report to the BW Board (expected in Spring 2008), the Board will decide whether or not to make a recommendation to its sponsoring Governments. Should either or both of the Governments decide to take forward any recommendation, that process will include public consultation.
